I got my first pilot job offer on my 34th birthday, 6 years to the day after I started training for my private pilot license. I will be flying for a charter company based in Houston.

Julie and I are moving back to Texas next Friday, should be a nice road trip with Orion. Feels like going home.

My start date is October 5th.

It is hard leaving a great job at Boeing with a wonderful team of people designing the last 747 but I cannot pass on such an opportunity.
